Installing Solar Panels to save on electricity costs

We are grateful to The Rolf-Stephan Nussbaum Foundation for sponsoring 43 solar panels and the installation thereof in 2018.
We were up and running four months after the initial application!
Solar power will save us in the region of 40% per annum on our electricity bill.
It is estimated that electricity tariffs will increase by 52% over the next 3 years.
We had the panels registered with the Cape Town City Council.
Quote from Trustee : “Our team of 6 simply feels privileged to be in a position to be able to help organisations from a variety of different backgrounds and with a variety of needs. It’s awesome for us to meet wonderful people doing wonderful work, often for very little reward. That, in itself, is ‘reward’ enough for us”.
Mission Statement
The Foundation was formed in 1994 by Steve Nussbaum.
Since then, The Foundation has donated to variety of charitable, educational, cultural and sporting organisations.
After Steve’s death in 2003, the Trustees have been given full discretion to continue the good work initiated by Steve.
We will continue to make donations to registered organisations in the furtherance of their specific needs.
