Business In Society

In June 2019 as part of the Business in Society –  Social Engagement Project that is part of the University of Stellenbosch Business School’s MBA Programme, students are required to completea Social Engagement Programme.
The aim is to affirm that University of Stellenbosch graduates develop and become responsible leaders and stewards of society.
“With this task, we sought out orginisations who themselves are stewards of society with activities that align with some of the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Goals. Our aim was to learn and reflect on the day to day running of such an orginisation and how it improves the community” – Warrick Weichardt, Chao Song and Duane Ambrose.
For their project Warrick, Song and Duane came to meet all the residents to get to know them a little better.
They als needed to learn and understand about the running of the house, each resident’s portfolio and duties as well as attending a Management Meeting.
They also made time to hang out with the residents one Saturday afternoon and even challenged us at a memorable and fun Quiz Nite at a local pub.
